BEHIND THE SCENES: This article was originally published in “UFO Files” (Vol. 1, #8, 1998.) I wrote it after hearing about one of these types of cases firsthand. I was skeptical at first, but as the accounts began to multiply, they became difficult to ignore. I decided to write an article to see if there were any particular similarities.

The patterns of the above cases show that aliens frequent public places such as bookstores, gas-stations, stores, schools, beaches, conventions, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, train-stations, on the streets…virtually any public place. They are usually described as having an unusual appearance, including large piercing eyes, pale skin, very short or tall, extraordinarily handsome or beautiful. The dress varies and includes being overly-clothed as if to disguise, odd-looking jumpsuit-type uniforms, or, non-current clothing or normal-looking clothes. Aliens in public places may also behave differently than normal people, often asking bizarre questions, following or staring at people, or responding to telepathic commands.

The most obvious conclusion from these types of cases is something that all UFO researchers eventually learn: UFO encounters can happen anywhere. Since this article was published, several more cases have surfaced, which I have added. If trends continue as they are, there will be more cases forthcoming.
